Matthew 22:11-12 But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.
How did you arrive at where you are now?
How did you get through the door you just did?
Exploring these questions may seem intrusive, but they are questions that will be posed by gatekeepers when you encounter them. Those questions are not intended to discriminate, rather, they are to prove your credentials. This is because while it might seem that all men can enter all places, many tend to forget that there are requirements to do so.
Therefore, how you arrive or enter places matter: the keys you arm yourself with, the character traits you build, the relationships you surround yourself with and above all, the posture of your heart.
So ensure you have the credentials to function in any space you enter because while gold is refined in a furnace, plastic gets permanently destroyed.
Thus, except at the instance of mercy, the consequences of not possessing the right credentials to be in a particular space is either expulsion or destruction. That should be the challenge to us.
