DID GOD MAKE THE CUT?
Matthew 10:37 He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Where is God in your life?
Perhaps, that question is a bit too vague so let’s clarify it: what position does God occupy in the current set up of your life?
Humans are creatures of planning. We shop with lists and while at work with a set of actions requiring our attention, we stratify them in order of priority. So if at this very moment, I were to ask you to list the five most important things/people in your life in order of priority, what persons or items would make their way unto your list?
If we expanded it to ten, which new names would crop up or if we dropped it down to three, would your list be easier or harder to compile?
In either scenario, does God find His way unto your list? Or does He just about make it unto the expanded list? If He does, where does He place and if He did not make the cut, have you wondered why?
Beloved, God does not hide his jealousy, he tells us to love him more than everything else. So our invitation today is to ponder individually on the question below:
“where is God in the current set up of my life? “
