John 21:3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing

In today’s text, Peter tells the other disciples ‘I am going fishing’ and the chorus response was ‘we will go with you’. Some of the number who responded were fishermen but one question comes to mind ‘in that moment, did they really all have to go fishing?’
