Everyone wants to start a new chapter on a high, with big expectations and even bigger advantages. It is even better to see that others are in agreement of these intentions of ours and support us in them. As today marks the first day of the year, there is no greater feeling than coming to the realisation that God himself is in on the action, that He is super interested in our very best.

We start the year with a charge from God which concludes with His commitment to fulfil. He presents to us a methodology and process of pronouncing blessings that came with a 100% percent guarantee of fulfilment. There is a perfect assurance for He says “This is how you are to call my name upon the people of Israel and ‘I WILL’ bless them.

The one message laid on my heart for this new year has been ” The grace for ease”. In all the situations that we found unusually challenging or for all the encounters that knocked the wind out of our sails the previous year, in the new year we receive grace to breeze through. The sons of Aaron were the ones charged with pronouncing these blessings but as children of God in the new testament, made priests and Kings unto our God, capacity is given to also pronounce blessings upon all.

So here is the pronouncement of blessing for you and your household according to the word of the Lord at the start of the new year:

“The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];

Num 6:24 AMP

The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor],

And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness];

Num 6:25 AMP

The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

Num 6:26 AMP

Happy New year my dear, and in this year, may you walk with ease.
