Reference text: Jeremiah 33:14-16

Jeremiah 33:14 ‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘when I will fulfill the good word and promise which I have made regarding the house of Israel and the house of Judah(AMP)

Today is the 2nd of December and for many, once the last month of the year begins, it is a time to pack up. A time to begin shifting any unfulfilled plans or goals, and any unanswered prayers to the next calendar year. They conclude the year as ended. Today’s message therefore comes for you if you have already began considering such thoughts.

The text in Jeremiah individually mentions the house of Israel and the house of Judah, there are no generalisations like ‘my people’. This is because the promise made to each house, was specific to that house: salvation for one and safety for the other. So beloved, get it straight that God’s address is to YOU personally and to your house.

He wants to remind you that He has not forgotten what He has promised to you. He says to to you ‘the days are coming when I will establish what I have spoken concerning you.’ You will say’ But its late, can’t God see that? He responds: the timing is not right – not yet. Just wait expectantly and see how I execute that promise in your life’.

We are often tempted to force the hand of God and cause Him to move when we want Him to, when it feels right for us. God has never been one to be bossed around anyways but sweetheart, sometimes, you have to learn to be a creature, and let God be God. You keep positioning yourself right and staying faithful, because when He also begins to move in His time, you will notice that the whole process was for a reason.

Remember # concerning those promises made to you, the days of their fulfilment are coming, just hold on.
