Luke 12:6 Even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
One statement few will argue with is this: “we do not have answers to every question”. At least, this is true in a human context. Therefore, even if we wanted to attempt answering them, our responses will only be approximations. Such questions include:
- Where does the wind come from
- How many hairs are on my head?
- How many strands of my hair fell today?
- How many thoughts have I had today?
As vague as these questions sound, it will interest you to know that there is one who has accurate answers to each of them. And it make sense because surely, these hard questions should be answerable by the one who knows all things.
Therefore, God is one who thrives in this role of having all the answers even though He is not obligated to respond to all our questions. So when our verse today reads: “Even the hairs of your head are all numbered“, we can bear in mind that it comes from a place of His ability, not just a flimsy excuse to gain our allegiance.
