When multiple priorities exist, choices result in trade offs, and that is where problems arise. The Apostle encountered their first hiccup with increasing numbers when the story of food distribution came up. And while this was a genuine cause for concern, they were quick to realise that it created a need for prioritisation:
"So the Twelve called the disciples together and said, “It is not appropriate for us to neglect [teaching] the word of God in order to serve tables and manage the distribution of food." (Acts 6:2)
The truth is when you do not set your priorities right, you will ultimately end up trading what is needed for what is wanted. That is how many are led off course on the path of destiny actualization. They abandon core elements and consecrations in the pursuit of ‘other priorities’.
Not every problem is an invitation for your direct intervention, some are simply distractions. Discern which things require your focus, and concentrate on those. Don’t be swayed on all sides because you will waste energy.
