BLESSED INDEED

DAY 1

When God first made man, the very first thing scripture mentions is ‘And God blessed them…(Gen 1:28)’. Through time, while God remains the administrator of every blessing contained within the boundaries of His Word, He honours the declarations of men who are relay channels of those blessings. Thus, when Isaac spoke to Esau about Jacob, he said ‘I have blessed him and indeed, he shall be blessed(Gen 27:33).

So on the strength of this word, on the first day of the year, these blessings I declare:

May the Lord draw you to pitch your tent in his presence, and may his word be the light that guides your path this season,

May God be an ever present help to answer you when you call,

May doors be opened to you and may you be ushered into unusual  dimensions of access in this New year,

May the work of your hands be fruitful, that abundance flows in your domain;

May your borders be enlarged and may capacity be given you to occupy and dominate where you possess,

May you find rest on all sides and pertaining to life, you will live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the Living.

In this new year,
The LORD bless you, and keep you:  The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
