MISREPRESENTATION
Matthew 9:34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
‘He casts out demons by the Prince of demons’. On the one hand, while we could say this story was cooked up out of jealousy, it raises a bigger concern regarding the conclusions others infer from specific situations. Even more telling if they do not have detailed information about what they speak.
How sure were they that he cast out demons by the Prince of demons? On what basis were their assumptions founded? Some people have found themselves in very tight and tricky spots because of the conclusions that were drawn out of their situations, without the additional information which would have ensured that a “valid” conclusion was made.
Consequently, many have ended up misrepresented and misunderstood, two situations that require a great deal of effort to overturn. Even God the father, has had a fair share of being misunderstood and misrepresented. Therefore, before you draw conclusions on any matter, check to ascertain if your ignorance isn’t one of the contributing factors lest you have misunderstood and so end up misrepresenting another.
