John 6:8-9 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
When Jesus asked the disciples for food, Andrew identified a lad with five loaves and two fish but immediately wrote this off as inadequate for the entire gathering. And in a literal sense, he was undoubtedly very right.
Just like Andrew, we often see ourselves and what we have as inadequate, as having nothing to offer, no real ability to impact a situation. But here is something we seem to forget, ‘a small pebble has the capacity to overturn a large vehicle. It only has to be in the right place’. A small crack in the right place can bring down an entire structure
The little we have has the ability to make an impact, it only depends on in whose hands they are held or the foundations and platform upon which they are presented. So commit your little into the hands of God and see what becomes of it.
