John 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

When Jesus appeared to the disciples, Thomas was missing and he refused to believe until he had seen the wounds and placed his hands in the sides of Jesus. So when Jesus appeared to them again, He wished all of them peace and turned His attention to Thomas.

It was as if he was the only person in the room in that instance because Jesus took his time to allow for a thorough inspection so Thomas could also come to believe.

Just as he calls each star by name, such is the degree of personalisation attached to each of our relationship with him. He treats each and every one of us as though we were the only ones standing before Him. He will therefore do what it takes to get us to a place of contentment, to a place of faith. That is the heart of Father.
