NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
Luke 5:12 And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
A search through scripture results in one conclusion about God: ‘there is nothing too hard for Him’ and ‘ with Him, nothing is impossible. Therefore, understanding the ability of God is fundamental to our Christian walk because it positions us in a place where we can stretch our faith as touching the things He is able to do.
When one then comes to a clear understanding of the abilities of God and the possibilities in Him, they are lifted from one level of glory to another for they become exposed to dimensions where this ability trumps every hurdle. The leper in today’s Gospel understood that he needed to appeal to the heart of Jesus in alignment to His will because the ability to do, was already a default position.
Such a conclusion can only be arrived at through a level of intimacy. Long story short, there is nothing God cannot do! The only variable is ‘the will’, so that the desires of our heart aligns with that of God and does not set us outside His best.
