PERSONAL OR COMMUNAL?

John 18:34 Jesus answered, “Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me?”

From the conversation between pilate and Jesus, we can make an inference as well as ponder on a question: “Have you made your own conviction or has your decision being influenced by others?”

Many of life’s decisions come with a personal assessment and in some cases, a consideration of the views of others. Every decision thus warrants a careful assessment of what factors influence those choices. However, one must be careful to know which is personal and which demands more than that.

It is in knowing this difference that we can make well-weighted choices . Yet, God should never be out of either kind of decision making.
