DAY 257 OF 365 IN 2021

STAY PATIENT, WALK WITH GOD
Numbers 21:4-5a They traveled from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea,[a] to go around Edom. But the people grew impatient on the way; 5 they spoke against God and against Moses,
“Time is money” we often say, hence with the pursuit of financial success dominating centre stage it is no real surprise that many of us have become inpatient. We barely have time to wait for anything so our anthem has become the very obvious, ‘I don’t have time, or I can’t wait, so hurry up’.
The statements in the text told the entire story today ‘ the people of Israel grew inpatient on their journey and ended up speaking against God and His servant, Moses.’ As a result, they suffered grave consequences.
Beloved, patience as a virtue should always be in reserve within our store houses because it has a place. The moment your patience runs out can become the day you force your way ahead of God and run yourself into trouble.
