“IT IS GOOD THAT WE ARE HERE”

DAY 218 OF 365 IN 2021

Mark 9:5 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Two words “good and here” – one a feeling and the other a location. Peter, James and John found themselves in amazing company up the mount during the transfiguration of Jesus and Peter could not help but express his delight at being up there in that moment. It was a rare opportunity and we can tell that they were happy to be a part of it.

Recently, there is a prayer that has become a part of my routine subconsciously “Lord, let me encounter every person intended to benefit from the graces at work in me  this day”. That is my way of saying ‘place me where you need me to be today’.

There is something about being in the right place at the right moment  because it places you in pole position to have an effect where you are. Sometimes, we may think we find ourselves in places solely by coincidence or accident, but that isn’t always the case. We are often placed for in places a reason. Pray that you will find yourself where you are meant to be at every moment.
