Reference: 1 John 4:7-10
1 John 4:10 This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven.
It is not that I love, but that I am loved by Him. It is not that I know how to love God, but that I know He loves me with a love so strong that nothing can pull me away. Today, I am reminded of this and so also remind you:
Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not death threats, not backstabbing,…
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—
In fact, No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us (Romans 8:35-39 MSG, Voice)
