Psalms 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
When you are being chased or at a point when you need to spend some time alone, it is ideal that you hide in a place where you cannot be found- well camouflaged or with near perfect cover. On many other occasions however, you would be concerned about being located, so you stay in a place where you can be easily found.
The same applies as we journey on through life’s busy road: we want to position ourselves in places where we can be ‘FOUND’ not just by God, but also by others. My dear, although it can be very easy to lose oneself and also get lost along the way, we can have confidence in this one thing: ‘God will always find us’.
I think that is even an understatement for in reality, God never loses sight of us. His attention is locked on to us at all times regardless of how far away we attempt to hide or flee. He has his eyes so glued to us that as the Psalmist describes, no where is excluded.
Beloved, God invades our personal space to keep watch over us even when we have not asked. He is the all seeing one whose heart for his own neither allows him to slumber nor sleep. He will keep watching, asked or not for that is His nature. So you can journey on and rest soundly in safety for He’s got His eyes watching over.
