Reference text: Acts 4:31-37
Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
The boldness to proclaim the good news, the ability to live in unity and love truly, the conviction to trust others with all you have and to pursue the greater good of all- these were the characteristics mentioned in today’s account of the life of the disciples. Yet, all these were made possible by one umbrella reason: ‘they lived in an extraordinary season’.
Great grace was upon them all or as a translation I read put it ‘they were living in an exceptional time of grace’. Therefore, if in their time, in their season of grace; everything worked for the purpose and intention of promoting the God-given agenda they had been tasked with, what could be manifest in our seasons of grace?
Worthy of note is that the seasons of grace are not divided into portions and sections that are marched into on schedule. It is a permanent cover under which we walk because of the finished work of Christ. So for us, every minute and every second is a season of grace. We do not have to wait for a specific season or period within which we can manifest the best-life God gives.
I am certain that the above revelation needs to alter the way we approach situations and give us a reason to expect the best out of every situation because every moment, is a moment of grace.
