THE CHAMPION IN YOUR CORNER

Reference text: Ephesians 1:15-23

Ephesians 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

When one considers the concept of safety, it is always crucial to have some kind of foresight into all the possible dangers that could happen, taking into account the best case, or even the worst case scenarios. Thus, although Jesus is presented as ‘exalted above all things’, knowing us, God opted to take this up a notch to plug any gaps.

Therefore, by offering the added guarantee that ‘the name of Jesus, will remain exalted above every other name that is named, even in the future’, God sought to ensure that we have no reason to worry; especially about what the future holds.

The managers of some fighters in the world of sport, tend to make a lot of noise about their clients. They do so not just because they have been paid to, but rather because as their fighters prepare to enter the ring; there is a certain confidence that the champion in their corner is up to the task at hand. That is the kind of confidence God seeks to instill in us. He wants us to embrace the truth and walk in the revelation that we are part of a team whose champion is forever exalted; the champion who will remain undisputed till the end of time.

Sweetheart, you may be troubled by many things, and carrying a load that is breaking your back. You may be facing a situation that appears bigger than any you have faced, regardless, this Word seeks to assure you that the size of your incomprehensible situation pales in comparison to the God you serve. It is therefore about time you spoke some calm into that situation or faced it head on, being constantly reminded of the champion in your corner. And oh, lest you have forgotten, His name is Jesus.

Remember # Jesus is the eternally undisputed champion who fights in your corner.
