Acts 22:10 I asked, ‘What should I do, Lord?’ “And the Lord told me, ‘Get up and go into Damascus, and there you will be told everything you are to do.’

We read Paul’s account on the way to Damascus with the intention of arresting men and and women who believed and bringing them bound to Jerusalem. In his discourse, he asks a very important question that we also ought to also ask on our journey through life. It is a question to have an answer to while we walk, before we start running.

From the very moment we decipher what to do; where to do it, when to do it and how to do it, follow suit. One could end up doing a lot of things, but never touch what they really have to. “What shall I do, Lord?” should thus become the cry of our hearts too.

It is a call for direction, a request for leading because God is ever ready to say “this is the way, walk in it.
