FAITHFULNESS IN LITTLE

DAY 315

“If you want to check extent of a man’s desire, give them a taste of what they seek and gauge their response”

Jesus simply described the test of custodianship and trust in these words in

Luke 16:10 "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."

It does not take a lot to determine if any person is capable of managing much, little is the way to start. How one deals with what is little, becomes the basis for promotion and enlargement. If you cannot be trusted to be faithful with one talent, how can you be trusted with five?

The master in the parable of the tenants captured in Matthew 25, gave rewards in this manner: ‘For the two servants who doubled their 5 and 2 talents respectively, he told them ‘you have been faithful with little, I will put you in charge of much responsibility. However, for the one who could not make anything out of little, even the one he had was taken away from him.

Anyone not faithful in little, cannot be trusted with or given much.
