DAY 74

I don’t attend a lot of requiem Masses but whenever I do, I tend to do a bit of reflection. I ponder on a couple of questions chief among them “what do I still have to do and how much time do I have for it? At the end of my alloted time on this earth, would I have completed that which God assigned to do?” Would I be able to say ‘I have finished my race?’.

I ask these questions not in fear, but as a check of where I am going and what I am doing. It is intended to recalibrate my focus. The quote in my Bible diary app this evening gave me some excellent news though: ‘your potential is the sum of all the possibilities God has for your life’. As I smiled after reading this, my mind went straight to Abraham in Genesis: 13:14-15

"The LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land which you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever."

Beloved, there are no impossibilities with God therefore, your possibilities in Him are equally incalculable. In fact, they are only limited by the extent of your sight.

Whatever then you dare to reach for, if it pertains to life and godliness, expect its manifestation because that is a possibility already allocated for you in God.
