DAY 11

Mark 1:37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.
There are traits that draw specific groups of people to you. When you become a teacher, you attract students and when you gain wealth, you attract companions or those who are meant to become beneficiaries of the wealth you command. In plain terms, whatever possibilities you command often determines the calibre and degree of men that seek you.
Jesus attained a status where all men sought Him. The rich, the poor, the influential, the sick, students teachers; in fact, the list could go on. What then commanded this audience we might ask? What was it about Jesus that made Him a go to person for all men?
His integrity? His excellency? The wisdom He showed? His results? Or the manner in which He executed His assignment on earth? You can add on to the list and make your pick but it is possible for ‘All men to seek you’.
Yet mind you, all men just don’t seek anybody – ‘Gentiles will come to your light and Kings to the brightness of your rising’. For Jesus, no one could come to Him except the father draw Him. The one who draws “All men” is God, so you first have to be drawn to, and established with Him.
Only then will your light shine bright enough to draw others.
