WHAT IS YOUR VALUATION?

Matthew 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].

We don’t have to pretend we are nice people and that we see all men the same because that is not the case. There comes a point in time when we stratify people, places and things on the basis of value. Let’s put this in other words: ‘the people, places and things in your life are all not valued the same’. This is harsh, but it is true.

You know very well that there are some people you will run for, others you will walk to. Even for some, you would even wish you could teleport to their vicinity if they were in any form of predicament. Have you wondered why? It is much like the men used in the examples of the Gospel: they found one thing that was valuable enough to be worth their entire fortune.

Today’s message is just one to trigger a bit of a perusal into your thought process so you can attempt to answer the question “what and who do you consider valuable? If valuable, how valuable?
