Matthew 9:15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

It would be easy to just press on in life expecting one full stretch of events. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case because by design, life is stratified and broken down into stages.

While the events that characterise each stage differ, interestingly, the lessons of any stage cannot be skipped or ignored because they will have relevance at a later stage. In addition, all of us are at different stages on that journey. Even if we are at the same stage, we stand at different points on the journey.

In very simple words therefore, as I read recently “when you understand time and seasons, you envy no one”.
So therefore, let us strive to know at what season and time in life we find ourself, and subscribe to knowing and learning the requirements of that stage before we move up to the next.
