CAN YOU GO THROUGH THE DOOR?

Doors are physical access points and usually valid entry points into and out of places. Whenever we step through a door, depending on its location, most likely we have transitioned to another season, office, territory,  compartment or room. After going through doors then, we can choose to close them or hold them open. Even some doors are designed to automatically close or stay open.

Here is the drill- whoever does not transition through a door, means they had no key to it and that is what Jesus speaks about ‘

“Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber'. John 10:1

Any other entry point is thus classified illegal. That is the however the problem in today’s world because many have transitioned without passing through the requisite doors. Doors of seasons, doors of specific relationships, doors of specific knowledge and many other doors that ought to define their walk through life.

So something to ponder on today –

• what transitions have I made and did I enter through the right doors?
• Did I have the right keys to enter any new doors I am facing or would I have been stuck behind if I don’t climb in some other way?
