Wisdom 2:22 and they did not know the secret purposes of God, nor hoped for the wages of holiness, nor discerned the prize for blameless souls;

Sometimes, people think they have you exactly where they want you. In a place where they can inflict the most pain, in a place where you are tested to the limit, in a spot where the intention is to break you. In such cases, it might appear all you have is the grace of forbearance and patience.

But you know what, sometimes, it is exactly where God wants you for in that, he conceals His great agenda.

That same methodology was applied even with Jesus ‘But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory (1 Corinthians 2:7-8).

That agenda remains hidden and could be shrouded in your pain and apparent discomfort because if everything looked otherwise, you would not be built up to the capacity required for your rising. The secret purposes of God therefore remain hidden from the eyes of many until an opportune time when it offers an advantage.
