Mark 8:26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

Jesus walked the blind man out of Bethsaida, healed him outside and then ordered him not to return to that town nor tell anyone about what had ensued. Why was it necessary that some ears be kept out of the loop of this miracle?

It’s this: not every news of yours is good news to everybody else. Unlike Elizabeth’s neighbours, not every ear will rejoice at hearing what testimonies you have and not everybody will praise God together with you.

There are therefore some things one does not share with everybody for not every ear is intended to be a beneficiary of them. Discern to know the difference.
