DAY 302 OF 365 IN 2021

Luke 14:3,4 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;

When man refuses to respond, it does not suggest God is doing the same. When Jesus asked what their opinions were about the matter of doing good or not, his audience refused to answer. Perhaps we would have expected that after such an encounter, He would wait patiently doing nothing until an appropriate response arrived.

But what does He do? He took the man, healed him and sent him on his way. In other words, the silence of men was not enough justification for God to stay his hand and wait.

There are times when it does seem that God is dependent on another man to orchestrate something in a particular life, perhaps yes, but does not mean without the Yes of that man, God is unable to do anything.
Beloved, don’t be tempted into thinking that it’s you or no one! You are one of many in the vineyard, not the one and only.

We cannot tie the hands of God with our silence, indecision or indifference. He will do what He wills to do, and for that, He will find a suitable partnership. A willing hand, or an obedient voice that will say ‘behold I am the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to your word.’
