DAY 66 OF 365 IN 2021

1 Corinthians 1:22, 24 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Sometimes, until we find exclusively what we are after on its own, we keep looking. As an example, imagine in this age, one goes out to buy a mobile phone that could only make phone calls and nothing else. You could find yourself in a perpetual search because all phones now do more than just calls.
You will get one that makes calls, however, it would almost certainly have additional features. We read today about what the Jews and Greeks wanted: the former sought after signs while the latter sought wisdom. However, it becomes evident that what either wanted was found in one man, Jesus, but none could see it. Perhaps, they thought that trait which they wanted should be standing alone. Sadly, that was not the case.
Beloved, Jesus comes as a pre-packaged delivery, He is all in one. When you receive him, it matters not what your specific search is for. Christ has thus been presented to us as the complete embodiment of all we seek so I ask: ‘in Him, have you now found what you’re looking for are you still searching? Are we still looking round because we are yet to appreciate the fullness of what He brings and who He is? Or are we actually looking forward to something more than Him?
