Reference: Luke 11:27-28
Luke 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
A crowd can be unpredictable hence one can expect even the unusual. Congregations of large crowds, as in a soccer game are often a bother because of the difficulty in crowd management. It is nearly impossible in some cases, to find out who said what or who did what when things go wrong. But with the advent of wide angle cameras and slow motion, things are getting easier.
Even then, what can we expect from crowds? Insults or discouragement? Encouragement or compliments? Silence? As long as our ears are open, we can expect a very mixed bag of input from a crowd, that is the truth. Depending on the central idea being propagated, any crowd can throw out ideals, words and concepts at us. The step beyond this is to acknowledge or ignore what we hear albeit, considering to what extent we would do this.
Beloved, you have different crowds around you, what are you gleaning from them, what are you hearing from them and what are you receiving from them?
