NOTHING IS TOO BROKEN

A statement in the homily was my take him message from Mass on Maundy Thursday: “God can write straight even on crooked lines”

Is there such a thing as too broken? Anything as too far gone?
Is there any life that finds its way into the hands of God and still maintains a state of helplessness and claims to have no use?
Is there any man so weak that their weakness cannot be consumed by the might of God?

In the eyes of God, there is nothing too broken that cannot be mended when it finds its way back into His hands. That was the distinction between Peter, the denier, Judas Iscariot, the betrayer and Thomas, the doubter. Peter and Thomas found a way to stay with Jesus in spite of their weakness, but Judas never did.

Our weaknessess are not badges of honour, they are offerings to be exchanged for strength from God.
