IF WE ALLOW YOU TO GO ON..

John 11:48 "If we allow him to go on like this, soon everyone will believe in him. Then the Roman army will come and destroy both our Temple and our nation.”

Today’s text captures a council of priests and pharisees considering what approach to adopt regarding the issue of Jesus and his miracles. The preamble of their concern was: “if we allow him to go on like this... and that was the phrase that caught my attention.

Let’s just capture that preamble and transpose it into our circumstance. That consideration of the Pharisees is one that should be worth our consideration also. As you are now, as you are acting and behaving now, with the template and blueprint you are running with and the choices you are making, and intend to make; if we allow you to go on like this, what do you think the outcome will be?

This is an invitation and reminder to review the things you have written or considered as plans. Where are they leading you to? Assuming no one makes any input to your current blueprint, will it aid you to make impact in life? Will it add colour and structure to destiny actualization? Or will it rather fastrack your way into trouble?

If we allow you to go on, where are you headed?
