GOD DOESN’T NAVIGATE BLIND

When an artist is working on a piece of artwork, before the final product is revealed may who pass by my see nothing but chaos. Random brushstrokes, dubs of ink scattered in unusual places and no obvious pattern at play. But rest assured, beneath what looks like chaos is calm, clarity and intent.

The Angel Gabriel was not just sent – he was sent with specific parameters provided that could only have taken him to the doorstep of Mary and the opening verses of today’s Gospel provides us with those landmarks. In the sixth month, a city of Galilee named Nazareth, a virgin name Mary betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. (Luke 1: 26,27).

In that period, only one individual fitted that specific criteria. Think whatever you may, but rest assured this was not random. Likewise, that complex mixture of your experiences, lessons, disappointments, learning, encounters and location, have been so engineered to make you the ideal person for a specific assignment.

Beloved, ‘God does not do anything randomly’- there is a meaning behind everything. Your life’s script has been painted by Him, the master artisan hence every brush stroke, type of ink and timeline for completion all fit into the script perfectly.
