A PROMISE TO BE RECEIVED

Isaiah 65:21 They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit."

Many people, even Christians, are hesitant and hold back in their pursuit of the things that ‘pertain to life’. They resolve to doing the bare minimum because though the lens of the experiences around them, they come to a conclusion that their labour will fall into the hands of another.

However, a very firm statement came to mind after reading this verse today: “

You have to benefit from the work of your hands, and that is not a privilege – it is a promise.

The Prophet Isaiah rendered it in these way, beginning with the words thus says the Lord, we arrive at “They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.”

However, like all promises, there is a template for its manifestation. That word has to be found, confessed, and received for it to be manifested. Your mind has to capture the promise as a reality, not an abstract concept. God has said it, yours is to receive and have it – I will build my house and inhabit it. I will plant my vineyard and eat their fruit – what about you?
