THINGS WON’T PROTECT THEMSELVES

Luke 11:21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe

The only thing that guarantees the protection of anything one possesses is first a consciousnes of its value, then the presence of a strong man armed with the right weapons guarding his goods. There is therefore, a method to what may seem like a random sequence of events.

So here lies the reality many ignore: the fact that “the things you have will not protect themselves”, whether that is career, family, spirituality, peace, or joy. There is a need to have systems in place that preserves your allotment. There must be boundaries, structures and systems in places to preserve them.

You have to be armed with the right weapons because there are weapons of knowledge, relationships and values you have to employ to preserve your career. There are weapons of prayer, word study, intimacy, and consecrations that preserve your spirituality. Therefore, bear in mind that the things you possess will need to be protected, they won’t protect themselves.
