1 Samuel 9:27 As they were going down to the edge of the town, Samuel said to Saul, “Tell the servant to go on ahead of us"—and the servant did so—"but you stay here for a while, so that I may give you a message from God.”
There are some things you will hear in life meant for your destiny, but they will be for your ears only. That is to say they will be communicated to you alone. A similar story is seen in Genesis when Lot parted ways with Abraham, it was as though God was waiting for a separation between the two before saying what he desired.
What is meant for your ears only will trigger alternative responses in the wrong audience: fear, worry, envy, etc. You could also even trigger apparently positive responses such as empathy, love and help. However, while positive, you can be loved, helped and empathized even out of seasons of training, and you will have to repeat those classes. That is why God will give some instructions to you alone.
For a season, you may have to ride solo like Noah when he was building the ark. He had received explicit instructions, but in the eyes others, he was making no headway. Sometimes, the best chance of actualising destiny may be the hearing of an explicit instruction meant for your ears only. The question then is will you wait to hear those words? And if you hear them, will you obey them?
