ARE YOU MOVING AT ALL?

There are two kinds of instruction that can come to any man –  the first triggers movement in a particular direction and the second, alters the direction of motion when movement is already taking place. Both are essential to the walk of an individual, however, many of us tend to be stuck in the former and refuse to move until instructions expressly arrive.

Isaiah 30:21, the verse of interest today reads “And whether you turn to the right or turn to the left, your ears will hear a message behind you: “This is the way, walk in it.” There is a time and place where one does not wait expressly for instructions, but initiates motion and waits for the voice from behind that directs.

This places a barrier preventing anyone from taken off like a tornado, and instead highlights the partnership which takes advantage of the mind of Christ in us. Turning in any direction is possible only when movement is taking place, and a vehicle in motion, however slowly, is often easier to steer than a stationary one. So the question to ponder on today is “am I in motion at all?”
