Matthew 15:32 Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”
I read the whole text and the line that caught my attention today was “I am unwilling to send them away hungry”.
In today’s Gospel, that unwillingness to send his audience away hungry became the seed which provoked the Apostles to pursue an answer to the food issue. Whenever desire leads the way, one begins to seek opportunities and avenues to ensure that outcomes are achieved.
In our time, that phrase could become a strong preamble guiding our choices: I am
Unwilling to be mediocre,
Unwilling to show nothing but excellence,
Unwilling to pursue mundane things,
Unwilling to be pegged by limitations,
Unwilling to be in lack
Whatever outcomes then that you desire to see manifest has a direct link to your will. This is why your will must be brought into alignment with God’s will.
