THE SEASONS WILL CHANGE

Luke 21:5-6 Some of his disciples began talking about the majestic stonework of the Temple and the memorial decorations on the walls. But Jesus said, Do you see these stones? The time is coming when not one of them will be left in place. They will all be knocked down."

The days are coming when you will be unable to take pride in the things you once did because the seasons would have changed. The years of plenty will eventually give way for the days of leanness. You won’t keep sowing forever nor stay perpetually in a period of harvest. That is not prophecy, it is a law: “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven”

The slacker who does not plow in season; will have nothing at harvest time when he looks (Prov 20:4) So use the days of your beauty well, likewise the days of your strength. Serve the Lord in your youth, when you have strength and work the work of him who sent you while it is day, for the night comes when no one can work.

Beloved, no season lasts forever, for ‘As long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease”(Gen 8:22). So don’t pitch camp in one season, especially when all things appear to align. You ought to anticipate that the seasons will change.
