When a toddler drops a precious item and shatters it, they are very likely to get away with a free pass because they will not have a clue what they have done. The same actions from a teenager will elicit a different response. Here is a lesson: things become more costly as you journey further along in life. You may wonder: how?
Picture this, you can afford to drop a fragile item from a few centimeters off the floor and get away only with small chinks. However, drop that same item from a couple of meters above the ground and you stand a real chance of shattering the item even if you don’t intend to because from that height, other laws including gravity are in play.
This means that:
- you have to be conscious of where you are standing, both in a physical and spiritual sense, before you make choices or take action.
- The current you will always pay a bigger price for things the old you would have gone scot free for.
- The price you pay for your choices carry different weights depending on the height from which you make them.
