AN EYE TO SEE GREATNESS

Reference text: Luke 11:29-32

An entire generation is condemned by another because something greater than Solomon was around and something greater than Jonah. Here is what was missing between the two generations then: one recognized the greatness that was in their midst while another did not.

Because here is the thing, greatness is not always obvious. What a thing will become or it’s inherent potential does not always resemble its current state. This matter is very true for seeds and very often men.
Many who are called to great destinies may not look like the greatness they are called to, with some barely scrapping by. In that raw and unrefined state, they are ignored.

It takes an eye that can see past the covering layers to identify potential. However, beyond identification, recognition and acknowledgement of greatness is also required. Without that recognition, you are unlikely to celebrate such greatness.
