NOT YET READY

John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

There is a situation that vetoes many things, including your prayer and even your faith, and that is the will of God. Remember the words of John “and this is the confidence we have that when we ask anything ‘according to his will’, He hears us”(1 Jn 5:14). Thus the timing, the nature and the content of the answers to our prayers are stipulated within the boundaries of the will of God.

Suffering may thus appear to endure, not because God is uninterested in bringing us out. Sometimes, he finds it conducive to the process of making because out of a difficult situation, God builds character and virtue. Such that what emerges from the ashes is a champion furnished to take on the demands of their assignment.

“You cannot bear them now” meant exactly that: You will be crushed by the weight of what will come. It’s postponed arrival is thus to ensure that appropriate muscles and fine movements have been mastered beforehand.
