YOU HAVE TO PICK A SIDE

Jesus uses an interesting statement to delineate some clear boundaries in: “whoever is not against us, is for us”( Mark 9:40)

There were only two sides: for and against. Likewise, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, good and evil, or life and death (Genesis 8:22, Deuteronomy 30:15)

When it comes to making decisions and choices, there are many times and moments when it feels like you can sit on the fence; times when it appears one leg in either camp is the way to go. That is where the warning against lukewarmness comes to mind – “make up your mind whether to be hot or cold”(Revelations 3:16)

Choosing to stay in the grey are creates confusion, both for yourself and others. If you remain in such hazy territories long enough, you could even lose track of what it is you truly believe. So make up your mind and pick a side.

And another thing, whoever is not against you, is for you, because while they may not openly support you, they will not resist your advance.
