1. “If you’re walking through the dessert and you see the carcass of a great man, don’t take a selfie, what killed them is not too far”
Ap. F. L
We live in an age where men are more concerned about comments and remarks. An age where the causes of events, alongside is consequences are often taken for granted. Whenever we encounter failure, especially of things that once looked great, it is an invitation for excavation and reflection. A chance to learn from, and to filter out those elements that may be relevant to us. Don’t rejoice over the failure of others, the cause may not be far from your borders.
2. Don’t spend your today grieving over your yesterday else you may miss your tomorrow forgetting that tomorrow is today’s future
Ps L. O
There is a way to relate with the past-as a point of reference and not as a permanent habitation. To make the choice to anchor solely on the past often results in a negligence of the events of the present. Bear in mind that ‘the choices of the present is what becomes the future, not the events of the past.
3.”True love is giving without expecting anything in return”
Rev Fr L. G
The one question we can ponder on is ‘what does God’s love take from us’? This is not a question of ‘what is required of us to show we love him’, but what we did for His love for us to remain intact despite all we do. There is no other way to put it because God simply loves us. We know His love is true because even when we give nothing back, He remains in love with us.
