SIGNALS NOT TO BE MISSED

Luke 12:54 Then He also said to the multitudes, “Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, ‘A shower is coming’; and so it is.

The point at which the cloud is seen rising from the west, coincided with not only the immediate recognition of its meaning, but also the accuracy of the recognition. That was no fluke and neither was it a chance finding -it was a product of familiarity with the cloud formation, and awareness of the constancy of the outcome associated with that formation. Similar to familiarity with traffic lights where each time, the meaning is the same: red means stop, and green means go.

There was predictability to those results. That is one marker of knowledge imbibed – the ability to replicate similar results. Whenever we are charged to gain familiarity with the ways of God, and mastery in our various endeavors, it is an invitation to a place of predictable results. Where at a glance, we can immediately plug-in to signals and what He is doing.

Mind you, even though God exists outside of time, there is always a time component to his dealings with men. Miss the signs and you may miss out on a move entirely, even in the fulfilment of purpose.
