DO THE BEST IN YOUR CORNER

Our verse of interest today is 1 Corinthians 9:22:

"To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some". 

I found it interesting that Paul became ALL things to ALL people, but the end goal was so he could save SOME.

I wondered, ‘why not all? ‘But the answer was glaring ‘it was not possible to’. Zeal and passion were insufficient, unending resources and influences would also not suffice because the ultimate fact is ‘you cannot do ALL things’. Surely, ‘you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you’, but you are not expected to do all things. There is a portion that has been assigned to you.

The only one capable of doing all things bears the title ‘El-Shaddai’- that is not your name. So do the SOME you have been allocated, but do it to the BEST standard it can be done. It takes many individual ‘SOME’ to arrive at the ALL we desire.
