Reference text: Luke 6:20-26

I know it’s exciting to latch on to a word of prophecy or encouragement to drive our forward advance, but don’t be deceived, not all outcomes will automatically take effect. Reading Saint Luke’s account of the beatitudes might get you thinking that the tables are just going to turn when the clock strikes a certain hour. That the rich will instantly become poor, the hungry become full, mourners will begin to laugh and those laughing will now mourn.
In Psalm 30:5, we read “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning”. However, when that joy comes in the morning, your have to be positioned to identify it and embrace it. If you don’t, the weeping might endure well through the morning.
Regardless of the existence of seasons and times, a defined set of criteria have to be fulfilled for specific manifestations to occur. If those conditions are met, the rich will stay rich and the hungry, stay hungry.
There really is no magic formula so don’t be tempted into thinking that it will simply be taken from one and given to another – it does not just work like that. So sorry to burst your bubble but while God is good, He remains just and fair.
You cannot simply keep expecting outcomes to manifest just because.. What are you doing about them?
