DON’T ALWAYS  WAIT FOR KNOWN DANGER

Matthew 12:14,15 But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, discussing how they could destroy Him. But Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and He healed them all,

God has a commitment to preserve you, and from his domain, He neither slumbers nor sleeps. However, there is also an element of responsibility that falls on you to be preserved. Wisdom is therefore given to guide ones actions towards preservation and Jesus teaches us how that is applied.

Even though we have been sent as sheep among wolves, we don’t lose our wisdom as serpents  (Mt 10:6). When Jesus became aware of the plot to destroy or kill him, that was not the time to go asking questions – he withdrew from that location. Of course there are situations when one faces danger because it is the route through which God is glorified-the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace or Daniel in the lions den are examples

But make no mistake, equally, there are moments in life when removing yourself from known danger is what wisdom dictates. Jesus shows us today, Moses escaped Egypt and Elijah run from Jezebel.
You don’t always stay waiting for danger to manifest before praying for deliverance, sometimes you have to remove yourself from the situation.
