The Gospel of today was an expression of the gift of Word of wisdom. Jesus gave the disciples information of events regarding preparation for the passover, and everything unfolded exactly as they had been told. We read
'So the two disciples went into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there (Mark 14:26).
We often forget that God sustains all things, including time, because He exists outside of time. Therefore, “before God speaks, it means He has worked”. Whether that means in the past, present or future, He has coverage across all those dimensions of time.
While we are locked to a present reality and time point, God is in the past, in the present and in the future. That is why ‘He calls the things that are not, as though they are’(Romans 4:17) because from His reference, that is the reality. Beloved, it takes some time of journeying with God to trust that He knows what He is doing, and speaks because there is provision to fulfill what He has said.
Don’t let your current limited perspective of reality cause you to think that God shares the same view, because as far as the heavens are above the earth, so far are His ways and thoughts above ours (Isaiah 55:9). Again, ‘before God speaks, it is because He has worked’.
